First appearance of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with Quintet of Hot Club of France in Japan, in 1936. At the dance hall named "Florida" (Akasaka-Tameike in Tokyo), they played with Japanese jazz singers and recorded few tracks like this clip.
